Raising Global Leaders is designed to identify, train, mentor, and raise young leaders between age 18-35 who are from the rural communities in Northern Cross River State, Nigeria. These young leaders will be trained to develop intrapersonal and interpersonal competencies, global business expertise, and multi-cultural competencies to begin to intentionally and strategically lead their lives with purpose and strength and become positive change agents within their communities.

The project is designed into three (3) phases so as the make the most impact, sustainability, and also so we could measure the progress of the young leaders.

Phase I: A 1-day Leadership conference for all members of the community and where 20 young leaders will be selected and announced for a fellowship program.

Phase II: A 1-week Camping training, where the 20 young leaders will be exposed to an intensive mental and physical drill by experienced experts and leaders.

Phase III: A 1-year Mentorship offline/online program, where the 20 young leaders will further be exposed to internship opportunities, one-on-one mentoring, and monthly/quarterly training and projects.

The main objective of this project is to raise global leaders and entrepreneurs who will be tech-savvy, employable, socially aware, and solution providers to the immediate challenges of their communities.

The Fellowship brings 20 selected young leaders to the Obudu Ranch, Cross River State, Nigeria for a 1-week intensive camp training where  Fellows (selected participants) will be exposed to practical knowledge and leadership capacity building opportunities as well as social entrepreneurship, business fundamentals, digital skills, Intercultural communication and lots more. 

Fellows will also access some internship opportunities and leadership platforms in order to develop their leadership skills while addressing relevant issues in their immediate communities.
