  1. Some people may think that eating large amounts of Vitamin C will lead to a disease like scurvy, but this is not true. Vitamin C can be overdosed, but only if you consume 500 times the recommended daily intakes of Vitamin C. The maximum daily intake of lypo spheric vitamin c for adults is 2,000 mg, which is about 10,000 mg of Vitamin C in a day. However, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll consume that much Vitamin C. An adult would have to eat 9 oranges a day to get 500 times the recommended daily intake of Vitamin C.
