Ayade Vs Ibeshi : Who Laughs Last?

There is every indication that there is cold war brewing within the ranks of the People's Democratic Party, PDP in Cross River State.

The Governor, Senator Ben Ayade and a former National Publicity Secretary and member of House of Representatives, Honourable Emmanuel Ibeshi are currently at dagger drawn over who decide the faction the state PDP belongs to.

While the Governor has pledged his loyalty to the Senator Ali Modu Sheriff faction of tthe PDP, some members of the party led by Ibeshi, a former Special Adviser to the governor are working with the Senator Ahmed Markaffi faction.

Ibeshi is currently serving as the secretary of the syndicate eleven, a committee set up by Markaffi faction to review the communication mechanism of the party.

As event continue to unfold, Cross Riverians would know who would have the last laugh between Ayade and Ibeshi, a kinsman of the Governor in the struggle for the soul of PDP.
