Calabar Electrocution:FG commends Gov Ayade’s decision to fly critically injured victims abroad for treatment

The pronouncement by Governor, Ben Ayade OF Cross River State, to fly abroad one of the critically injured victims of inyang Ashang football viewing centre has elicited commendation by the federal government.
Giving the commendation on behalf of the federal government and President Buhari , the head of service of the federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita, said I thank God and thank our digital governor for moving swiftly to arrange for one of them who has a bad situation to be flown abroad for more specialist care because of the nature of the burn.
The head of service of the federation, who spoke when she paid a visit to victims at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, UCTH described Cross River state citizens as a football loving people.
To this end, she appreciated the state government for prompt settlement of the bills of the injured and the decision of the governor to send the critically injured with severe burnt abroad for intensive Medicare.
Her word: "Our proactive governor has also paid the bills of the injured and visited the affected community with a message of condolences and promised to build a viewing centre as an EMERGENCY project for the teeming youth and the football loving community , this is a welcome development and we are at the federal level appreciate that":
It will be recalled that seven persons died on the 18th march, 2017 in Inyang Ashang Community while eleven of them were injured at a viewing centre while watching football.
