Eta, Ndoma-Egba Welcome Owan Enoh to APC ...Say He Was In An Unfamiliar Terrain

National Vice Chairman (South South) of the governing All Progressives Congress, Ntufam Hilliard Eta and the Chairman, Niger Delta Development Commission, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba in separate statements issued yesterday welcomed the news of the defection of the Senator representing Cros River Central Srnatotial district, John Owan Enoh to the APC.

Eta described Senator  Enoh's defection in his Etung Local Government chapter as '' a timely decision to pull out of an unfamiliar environment''.

In a statement signed by his Media Adviser, Mr. Bassey Ita, Eta said that Owan Enoh has been in the wrong political terrain over the years and needed to be integrated with his contemporaries and brothers in the progressive environment.

''Senator John Owan Enoh is of the progressive bent but had unfortunately found himself in the conservative environment, a situation that had negated the smooth demonstration of his progressive acumen over the years.

His defection today to the APC has therefore placed him in a vantage position to fulfill his political destiny as a progressive mind".

He felicitated the state executive committee of the party for the feat of having a Senator in their midst.

In his part, Ndoma-Egba who spoke through his Communication aide, Clara Braide in a statement  said that "I welcome a brother to the fold of progressives who are determined to make change, the type that will impact future generations positively.

We welcome him and others as there is the urgent need to mainstream Cross River State and indeed the South South Region.

My position has always been that a political party should be like a church; open to all".
