BREAKING : Plots To Declare Hon. Elucate Seat Vacant For Defecting To APC Exposed

The Speaker of Cross River State House of Assembly,  Rt. Hon. John Gaul Lebo has allegedly concluded plans to declare the seat of Hon. Okoro Elucate who recently defected from the ruling People's Democratic Party, PDP to the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC vacant.

According to a top official of the assembly who is familiar with the development but spoke in confidence,  the speaker has led a team of Assembly members to a closed door meeting to arrange the suspension and subsequent removal of Elucate who represents the Obubra 11 state constituency.

The source further said the speaker was acting on the order of the Governor,  Ben Ayade who is also a member of PDP.

The plot according to our informant is to be executed in the next plenary session.
