APC Inaugurates Group To Mitigate Development Challanges in AKS.

 
                   
An All Progressives Congress support group known as 'The Alleviators'with vested interest in mitigating development challenges among the grassroots populace in the country is to be inaugurated in Akwa Ibom state by the party's Zonal Chairman for the south south,Ntufam Hilliard Eta.

All the Coordinators of the group at various levels of the state, local government and wards will be inaugurated at the event slated for October 28 at the Saint Patrick Primary School,Afaha Inang,Four Towns,Uyo,Akwa Ibom state.

Expectedly,Minister of Transportation, Chief Rotimi Amaechi will deliver a keynote presentation while the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Obong Nsima Ekere and the State APC Chairman,Mr.Ahmadu Atai will receive the group on behalf the party in the state.                                

Chieftain of the group,Mr.Melville Archibong said in a statement that The Alleviators are actually out to eliminate all forms of shortchanging and circumventions against grassroots develooment as it is poised to ensure that whatever is or are the needs of the people are delivered without let or hindrance.            

Describing the group as non-partisan, Archibong said The Alleviators was in partnership with key development partners including international donors,the Central Bank of Nigeria,professional bodies such as Doctors Across Borders,International Diabetes Federation among others and will evolve a lot of interface with the people to assess their needs before ensuring such needs are met.

According to him,though inaugurated in Akwa Ibom state,the activities of the group will be replicated across the country. 

The event is expected to draw critical stakeholders of the party from the south south zone and beyond, as well as captains of industries and officials of the partner agencies in attendance.
