Akpagu Signs Solar Power Project Agreement With Dantata Energy Firm

In a bid to strengthen the Nigerian-German Energy Partnership in the area of Solar Energy, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof Zana Akpagu has officially signed a project Development Cooperation Agreement with Dantata Solar limited.

Prof Akpagu said the purpose of the agreement is to establish the framework and set out defined principles to signal the official partnership and guide project coordination.

The Vice Chancellor while signing the agreement was hopeful that at completion, it will address the perennial power challenges, the institution is currently facing.

Speaking on behalf of the Project Agency, Mr Victor Edet expressed the optimism that with both partners performing their part, the University will profit immensely from the arrangement.
