2019 : APC Guber Aspirant urges Housa Community To acquire PVC, vote out PDP


Governorship aspirant of the opposition All Progressive Congress (APC) in Cross River State, Rt. Hon Paul Adah has urged  the Housa community in the state to take advantage of the ongoing Voter's registration to acquire their Permanent Voter's Card (PVC) in preparation to vote out the ruling People's Democratic Party in the state come 2019.

Hon. Adah stated this in Calabar during a visit to the Housa community in Ikot Nsibre (Nasarawa) in continuation of his consultation tour of the Southern senatorial district of the state.

Adah, a former two times member of the House Representatives and immediate past NDDC Commissioner emphasized the need for them to validate their voter's card as well as ensure that all those of voting age are registered as such commitment was not only imperative but a key to bringing about the needed change in the state.

He noted that the days of spin politicians or those who pursue the politics of anything-goes just to mislead the electorates are over adding that what the state need today is committed leadership and good governance.

He lamented the poor state of infrastructural development in the area and assure them of better times under the APC leadership.

Responding, the head of Housa Community, Alhaji Saidu Abubakar described his visit as unprecedented adding that they were overwhelmed by his humility and concern for the common man.

While assuring him of their support, Abubakar said his visit will go down memory lane as the first governorship aspirant to visit them.

Also speaking, the Chairman of APC in Nasarawa, Malam Uba described the visit as a welcome development adding that it signifies the beginning of better things to come.

Uba assured him of their unflinching support even as he expressed optimism that the quality of life of the common man and the state in general will improve giving his antecedents.
