Ayade donates 12 houses to Nigeria army

Cross River State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade has officially commissioned a block consisting 12 flats accommodation for Soldiers of Thirteen Brigade, Nigerian Army in Calabar.

Speaking at commissioning, the Governor represented by the Commissioner for Special Projects, Mr. Victor Agwu stated that the project is to support the efforts of the Federal Government to provide adequate accommodation to Officers and men of the Nigeria Arm Forces.

He commended the cordial relationship between the Thirteen Brigade and the State Government and also applaud the commander and his men for being steadfast in ensuring peace and security in the State.

The Commander, Thirteen Brigade of the Nigeria Army, Brigadier General Ismaila Isa expressed appreciation to the State Governor  for his support to the Military.

He said the gestures would in no small measure boost the morale of the troops in ensuring that they give their best to achieve the peace and security of the State.
