Northern Senatorial District of Cross River State All Progressives Congress, APC, aspirant, Chief Ray Murphy Ugbal has explained how he will spend the N13.5 extra allowances given to Senators if elected.

Ugbal in a Facebook post titled "What I will do with that N13.5 per month" said that he will spend the entire money in creating job opportunities as well as empowering his constituents through skills acquisition trainings.

It will be recalled that the Senator representing Kaduna South, Senator Shehu Sani recently revealed that each Senator is paid N13.5 million monthly as running cost outside their salaries and other allowances.

However, Ugbal who is seeking APC ticket to contest the 2019 Senate elections has assured his constituents that he will hold monthly public disbursement regarding the money.

He said that "I will employ 108 persons as Ward Development Officers, that is 2 persons ( one male and one female) from each the 54 wards of Northern Senatorial District. Monthly cost is N5.4m!

I will train-for-skills (not the current scam called empowerment) 20 more individuals per ward per annum. So from the 54 wards, I will train 1080 in relevant skills per annum. Monthly cost is N5m. Already, I have built Morphy Academy of Arts, Science and Technology (#MASTECH) OGOJA!

I will make available gratis grants to 54 women petty traders and farmers per month. This will require N3m #monthly.
Total = N13.4m. Commences June 2019!
I will hold public disbursement sessions monthly!
