Unical VC, Prof. Zana Akpagu

Following Prof. Zana Akpagu's sterling performances since assuming office as the 10th Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar (Unical), thousands of staff under the aegis of Cross River Community have passed a vote of confidence on him and his management team.

President of the forum, Dr. Ralph Offiong speaking during an inaugural meeting recently held in the University said that they were satisfied with the achievements of the Prof. Akpagu led administration.

He said that "Our dear community members, on behalf of the exco, we felt highly honoured and happy over your large turnout, kind words, advice, contributions and support. We promise to lead you well.

"Again, we thank you all for passing a Vote of confidence on the VC, Prof. Zana Akpagu".

Members of the forum in a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting reiterated their commitment to the community even as they expressed the need for unity and cohesion among Cross Riverians in the institution.
