9 Year Old School Pupil Allegedly Raped In Obudu

A9 year old pupil (name withheld) of St. Stephen’s Primary School, in Obudu Local Government Area has been allegedly raped.
Reports say the act was allegedly committed by One Mr. John Anayo who stays with his elder brother, a business man in Obudu LGA.
As at the time of filing this report, the Divisional police in Obudu could not be reached for confirmation but the Community relations Officer confirmed that the suspect has been arrested and will be charged to court.
Meanwhile, SUBEB Chairman, Dr. Stephen Odey has expressed sadness over the matter and vowed to bring the perpetrator to book.
He assured that the matter will be followed to a logical conclusion until justice is done to serve as a deterrent to others.
