Vote Ayade Out, APC urges Cross Riverians

Factional Chairman of the  All Progressives Congress in Cross River State, Dr. Matthew Achigbe has expressed total disappointment with the ill treatment of Pensioners in the state by the Governor Ben Ayade led government.

He called on Cross Riverians to prepare to vote out the Peoples Democratic Party during the 2019 polls.

Dr.Achigbe who was speaking shortly after the inaugural meeting of the party executive committee in Calabar on Wednesday said there are reported cases of afflictions and deaths on some retirees from the non-payment of their benefits.

The party Chairman emphasized that twelve out of fifteen retired Permanent Secretaries have died between 2015 and date without receiving their outstanding benefits.

He stated that it was even more disappointing that despite receiving a total N25.6 billion from both Paris and London clubs refunds and of the bailout funds, meant specifically for payment of workers and retirees emoluments, Governor Ayade has remained insensitive to the plight of retirees.

Achigbe urged Cross Riverians to brace up for change of leadership in the state, saying that APC has a better alternative to Ayade.
