Despite moving to 20th, C'River remains least ranked S/South state in WAEC


Despite moving from 28th to 20th position, the latest ranking by the West African Examination Council (WAEC)  has showed that Cross River State is still the least ranked state in the entire South South Geopolitical zone of the country.

Edo state which is ranked 3rd in Nigeria tops the ranking in South South while Rivers, Delta and Bayelsa ranked in 4th, 7th and 8th positions respectively in the country are second, third and fourth in South South.

Akwa Ibom state ranked 17th in the country is fifth in South while Cross River at 20th position is the least ranked state in the region.

The latest ranking of the 36 states including FCT, Abuja has Abia tops the Anambra and Edo as the top three.
