REVEALED : How Tambuwal, Imoke Plant Aspirant To Stop APC In C'River

A former People's Democratic Party, PDP state Chairman has revealed that Sokoto State Governor and PDP Presidential aspirant, Amninu Tambuwal and former Governor Liyel Imoke are currently sponsoring an aspirant from the central senatorial district of Cross River state in the APC.

According to the source who pleaded not to be mentioned, the dou have bought over senior members of APC and some PDP members who are working with the aspirant to get APC ticket rig and win the election and then return to APC.

He said that they took this decision because of the suspicion that Governor Ben Ayade may dump PDP for APC if he wins the 2019 election.

"As we speak now, PDP is the party that will decide who gets APC ticket in Cross River State. Imoke and Tambuwal are behind the aspiration of one of the governorship aspirant from central. They want him to get the ticket then rig massively so that immediately after the elections, he will return to PDP. He is a mole in APC. He is just in APC like Saraki and Ortom and others were.

"Their fear is that they are not comfortable with Ayade's relationship with President Buhari and APC. They said Ayade has never invited any PDP leader for project commissioning in the state before. So they feel because what's going on between PDP and Ayade, if he returns, he'll definitely defect to APC so to avoid that, they want to stop him", he said.

Speaking further, the source said that "Imoke thinking is that APC if field Niger Delta Minister, Pastor Usani Usani or any of its other aspirants from north or south, the contest would be between APC vs APC because as far as they are concerned, Ayade is an APC member and not PDP. So, to avoid that, they asked this their man to remain in APC when others returned to PDP to cause confusion.

"I'm very surprised that APC leaders have not seen this. Are you not aware that all Imoke allies are now working with this aspirant even from PDP? The coordinator of this aspirant from Yala is a PDP member and long standing ally of Imoke. Almost all his coordinators are either PDP people or those who just defected to APC. Their plan is to steal the APC victory and return to their party".
