Eid El Maulud: Ayade urges Muslims to imbibe the virtues of Prophet Muhammed

Cross River state Governor, Senator (Professor) Ben Ayade has felicitated with Nigerian Muslisms on the occasion of the celebration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammed.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Christian Ita, the Governor enjoined Muslims to imbibe the virtues of Prophet Muhammed and exhibit same in their daily activities.

"The birthday of Prophet Muhammed is a period of deep reflection and celebration. The Prophet lived an unblemished life and this is why his virtues are timeless. His pious life and virtues should therefore, be your guide in your daily activities", the statement quoted Governor Ayade as saying.

The statement further quoted th Cross state governor as commending the Moslem community in the state for  its support for his administration.

"I warmly felicitate with the Moslem community in Cross River on this solemn occasion of Eid  El Maulud; I commend them for their peaceful co- existence and support for the government. Our state will continue to be a paradise for freedom of worship and association", Ayade said
