The University of Calabar, Unical is set to commission what has been described as the best Ultramodern Dental Clinic in Nigeria.
Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Zana Akpagu disclosed this while briefing journalists at the institution's Senate Chambers on Tuesday in Calabar.
He said that the facility which will also serve as a Laboratory for Faculty of Dentistry will be opened for commercial use because it has the best equipments in the country.

Akpagu said that "As part of the projects we will commission is the Dental Laboratory which would now be open for commercial use as Dental Clinic. We were recently adjudged the most equipped Faculty of Dentistry in the country.
"We have more than 20 dental chairs which is the highest in the country. We have phantom heads that is not found anywhere in Nigeria.
"The Faculty got full accreditation the very first time it was presented for accreditation.
"So we have decided to open the place for commercial use as Dental Clinic".
