BREAKING : Ayade appoints Prof. Joshua Acting VC of CRUTECH

Cross River State Governor, Sen. Ben Ayade has approved the appointment of Prof. Mrs. Akon Joshua as the Acting Vice Chancellor of the Cross River University of Technology, CRUTECH.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Governor's Chief Press Secretary/Senior Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Christian Ita.

Ita in the statement added that the appointment is to last for the period of three months.

"The State Governor, His Excellency Senator Professor Ben Ayade has approved the appointment of Professor Akon Joshua as the acting Vice Chancellor of the Cross River State University of Technology (CRUTECH).

She is to act for a period of three months", the statement reads in part.

Akon, a Professor of Educational Psychology, is a former Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics and a former Dean, Faculty of Education in the university.

She is a native of Odukpani Local Government Area of the State.
