Ekpere congrats Buhari, Osinbajo, make case for women participation in politics

The Director General of the National Centre for Women Development (NCWD), Barr. (Mrs) Mary Ekpere-Eta has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo for a successful swearing-in for second term.
Ekpere-Eta in her congratulatory message to the President and his vice decried the the low number of women involvement in politics.
According to the statement "For me and many other stakeholders in the women empowerment movement, we would have loved to see many more women elected into office. But the disappointingly low number of women who made into the Executive and Legislative arms of government shouldnt stop us from celebrating the dogged few who made into government and ensured that female faces are seen as the inauguration ceremonies holding across the nation today".
She disclosed that I"Icelebrated Mr. President, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and our sisters to be sworn-in as Deputy Governors and those who will be inaugurated as members of the National Assembly and State Houses of Aseembly with a full page colour advert in today's Sun Newspaper".
