Unical emerges overall best in Universities theatre festival

The University of Calabar, Unical has again conquered other Nigerian Universities in the recently held 2019 edition of the Nigerian Universities Theatre Festival, NUFAT.

The event which held at the National Theatre Centre, Igamu Lagos State saw Unical topping other Universities in Short film, Spoken Word as well as  Stand-up Comedy competitions.

The University which also won the Best Female Actor in the annual festival came third in Drama, Contemporary Dance as well as first, second and third positions for the "on the spot" Solo Performance workshop competition.

Team Unical theatre carnival display was adjudged the most colorful and best interpreted even as the team was highly commended for good packaging, good conduct, comportment as well as appearance throughout the event.
