COVID-19 : Frankbornd donates nose masks, cash to community, Unions

In a bid to support government's efforts to contain the spread of the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic in Cross River State, Frank Ikemti has donated over 3000 nose masks and unannounced amount of money to his Bubuagbong Community in Obudu local government area of the state.

Ikemti who is popularly known by his campany's name, Frankbornd also extended his generosity to Cyclist and Motor Unions in Obudu as well as some Churches.

The young business mogul who is the Chief Executive Officer of Frankbornd Oil and Gas is also the owner of Frankbornd Couture, a fasting rising fashion and design company in Calabar.

Speaking, the entrepreneur said that while the government was doing its best especially for people in Calabar, the Capital city of the state, it was important that men of good conscience support this efforts by reaching out to those in rural communities.

He maintained that for the state to remain COVID-19 free, all well meaning Cross Riverians must rise to the challenge and contribute to what government is doing as government alone cannot do it all.

According to him, "So far, I want to say that the government has done well in keeping the state free of this deadly global pandemic. I've always told people that at this point, we all need to come together to fight the war devoid party lines because COVID-19 doesn't know APC or PDP".

He added that "Most people in the village cannot afford nose masks or sanitisers. This is why I decided to make my little contribution of nose masks and cash to enable them buy some of these things as well as help them buy foods for their families".

While urging Cross Riverians to follow instructions from government and experts to frequently wash their hands, wear their mask if they are going out amongst others, the philanthropist promised to continue to do his best to ensure that the state and his local government remain COVID-19 free.
