Edu bags FG award, to be inducted into 'Quintessential Woman' roll call of fame

Cross River State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Beta Edu has been selected as one of the women to be awarded an Excellence Award by the federal government for her positive impact in the society.

The award is organized by the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development in Collaboration with Excellent Women International.

The annual noble award event, organized to encourage women who have carved a niche for themselves is to hold on the 30th of July, 2020 in Abuja and she is to be recognized alongside other top Nigerian women.

Edu who is also the Chairman of the State COVID-19 Taskforce Response Team is to be inducted into the highly revered "Nigerian  Quintessential Woman Roll Call of Fame" by the organizers.

In a letter sent to the Commissioner recently, the Organizers said Edu's diligence and relentless efforts in delivering quality leadership has distinguished her among her peers in the country hence the recognition to encourage her and other women.

"We appreciate your positive impact, relentless effort and diligence in your esteemed position which has distinguished you amongst so many women in Nigeria, it is highly commendable.

The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development in Collaboration with Excellent Women International have considered you worthy of recognition and endorsement in this year’s "Nigerian  Quintessential Woman Roll Call of Fame.", the letter reads in part.
