7th Edition Of Odey Adamade Unity Tournament Kickoffs in Obudu

The 7th edition of one of the fastest growing football tournaments in Cross River State, the Odey Adamade Unity tournament has kicked off in Obudu.

The tournament kicked with a match between Golden Stars Academy and Team Honour FC on the 15th of August, 2020.

Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, Undeshi David Ugar (Mayor) said that since inception, the tournament has been action packed and this year's own won't be anything less. 

He said that the essence of the competition is to bring people together as well as to encourage and create opportunity for young people with interest in football to discover their talent.

Ugar, who commended the sponsor, Barr. Odey Adamade for the initiative said that he has added more beauty and fun to the Obudu local government new yam festival with the tournament since he started it 7 years ago.

Final of the competition where club and individual awards would be presented will be played on the 4th of September, being the eve of Obudu new yam festival day at the Obudu township stadium.
