Former Cross River Commissioner Bags NiMechE Fellowship

The immediate past Commissioner for Works in Cross River State, Engr. Dane Osim-Asu has been conferred with the fellowship of Nigerian Institute of Mechanical Engineers (NiMechE).

At the investiture which held recently at the Engineering House, Victoria Island, Lagos, Osim-Asu was described as great ambassador of the engineering profession in Nigeria and beyond.

Recall that six years ago, he was conferred with the fellowship of the umbrella body of engineering profession of Nigeria; the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

Speaking, the former Commissioner said that he was actually nominated for the honour last year but could not participate in the conference which held at Ibadan due to his busy schedule.

According to him, "I was to be conferred at Ibadan but I was absent so I had to join the conferees for this year. I am a year older as a FNimechE. I'm happy that I'm still  gaining professional grounds even after leaving office".
