Governor, Sports Minister, Others Mourn Demise Of DC Enamhe's Younger Brother

Late Emeka Peter Enamhe 

Heartfelt condolences have continued to pour in following the untimely passing of Emeka Peter Enamhe, the immediate younger brother of popular Cross River politician Sir Dorn Cklaimz Enamhe. 




Peter, who died on the 25th of January, 2024, at the age of 52, will be laid to rest tomorrow (February 8, 2024) in his country home in Bekwerra local government area.



Among those expressing their sympathy to Dorn Cklaimz and his family are the Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Bassey Otu, Honourable Minister of Sports Development, Sen. John Owan Enoh, Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey and Senator representing Cross River North Senatorial district, Jarigbe Agom.


Governor Otu, in a letter he personally signed and addressed to Dorn Cklaimz, said that "I bring you my sincere condolences on the death of your younger brother, Mr. Emeka Peter Enamhe, on January 25, 2024. 

 

I urge you and your family to take consolation in the fact that your brother, though died in the prime of his life, will be remembered as a sociable individual who valued friendship, family life and lived as a devout Christian. 

 

I urge your family, especially his wife, Blessing, his children; Dominic, Theresa, Peter and Paul, to take solace in the promise of the Almighty God to be united with our loved ones who have gone us before on Resurrection Morning". 


On his part, the Minister of Sports Development noted that "although he has gone the way of all mortals, his memory will live on for generations. I know that losing a brother at the prime of his life is an incredibly difficult thing for you, but my prayer is for God to grant you the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. "

Describing the decease as someone who lived a selfless life, the Minister urged the Enamhes to "uphold the sterling qualities which earned for him, the trust and respect of friends and associates in honour of his memory. It is my sincere hope  that the happy memories you shared with him continue to be a guiding light to your family. I will continue to have you in my thoughts and prayers in this difficult period. "
