Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, former governor of Abia State and the senator representing Abia North, has continued to be celebrated as a leader who creates opportunities and transforms the lives of ordinary people.

According to Odoemelam, he had never boarded an airplane in his life until the moment Senator Kalu made it possible for him to fly aboard a private jet.

“I have never flown on an airplane in my life, but when I flew for the first time, I flew on a private jet courtesy of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu. Men like OUK come once in a thousand years. He gives people’s lives meaning without minding where they come from. I am grateful for the unlimited access, Sir, never to be taken for granted,” Odoemelam said.

He stressed that the gesture was more than just about a flight — it was a reflection of Kalu’s rare quality of spotting people, regardless of background, and giving them opportunities that can change their lives forever.
