C’River Youths Join NCC/Nokia 4G/5G Training to Enhance the State’s Digital Capacity
The Commissioner for Science and Technology, Dr. Justin Beshel, has arrived at the Nigerian Communications Commission Centre of Excellence in Abuja with fifteen young indigenes of the State who will participate in a two-week technical training on 4G/5G networks.
The programme is organized by the NCC in collaboration with Nokia Solutions and Networks and is specifically targeted at Nigerian graduates with backgrounds in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, and Communications Engineering. Cross River State qualifies for opportunities like this because of the conscious efforts of the Commissioner and Governor Otu’s administration toward creating impactful connections with influential digital organizations and other federal agencies.
This training will provide participants with the requisite knowledge and skills in the telecommunications sector, empowering them to contribute significantly to the State’s, and indeed, the country’s digital future.
The participants from Cross River, as well as other States, were selected based on their performance in an online preselection test conducted by the NCC.
