Ayade, Always In The News For The Wrong Reasons--APC.

National Vice Chairman, South South of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ntufam Hilliard Eta has described the recent announcement by Senator Ben Ayade that over 70 companies are bidding for the superhighway and the deep seaport projects as laughable and a confirmation of the infantile disposition of the Governor.

He said the Governor will never cease from putting a lie to all his proposed signature projects thus making him remain in the news continuously for the wrong reasons.

Eta whose statement was conveyed in a press release signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Bassey Ita and made available to newsman said '' Governor Ayade has remained consistently  in the news for the wrong reasons''.

According to the statement' 'It is either he will be lying about signing an MOU or he will be lying about bringing in investors who will never come''.

He said '' Ayade has not even defended the issue of the conditions given him for the superhighway construction when he came out again recently to talk about the bidding process where over 70 companies are waiting in the wings to bid for the job alongside the deep seaport ''.

Eta noted that the pranks further put a lie on his signature projects '' thereby confirming our earlier suspicion that the state was being conned''.

The statement maintained that the PDP government has no sincerity and goodwill to better the lot of the people of the state and urged that the Ayade' s administration should not be taken seriously for its multifarious deceptions.

On the earmarked defection of the Governor to the APC, the party leader said ''Ayade has not consulted with us on his planned defection and so all that is being speculated is in the rumor mill' '.

The statement urged party officials and stakeholders not to be excited about an Ayade's exploit in APC and should go about their normal party businesses.

He described Ayade as heavily indebted to the good conscience of the people of Cross River who supported him to be governor but has turned around to be their albatross stating that his planned programmes and projects will continue to be a still birth following his insincerity.
