Beauty Queen Donates Wrappers To Widows In Cross River

Miss Yala, Jesustina Ogar presenting wrappers to widows yesterday 

The reigning Miss Yala beauty Queen, Jesustina Ogar yesterday donated six yards of quality wrapper each to over 50 widows in Yala local government area of Cross River State.

Miss Ogar who said that the gesture was in line with her charity works since she became Queen added that her aim was to show them love and put smile on their faces in the spirit of Christmas.

The beauty Queen added that the outreach was in continuation of what she started last year where she visited twelve hospitals and shared rice, tomatoes amongst other food items.

In her words "In line with my Charity works since crowned Queen, I have decided to show love to 50 widows  by giving out six yards (three fadon) of quality wrappers to each person.

Last year December I visited 12hospitals and clinics where I shared rice, tomatoes, groundnut oil, Maggi and other food items to patients"

She further explained that "I just want to show some love to them considering the fact that they are widows. I want them to know that they are always thought of and to give them a sense of belonging.
Last year was in the hospital, this year I want to touch the widows"

Speaking on behalf of the widows, Mrs. Mary Ogoji praised the Queen and urge her to continue to reach out to people in anyway she can saying that her reward will surely come.

She said that "On behalf of the widows, we want to say a big thank you to our daughter, the Yala Queen for this show of love. This is a small thing which has turned big. The God that gives her the lovely heart to think of us will surely reward and bless her. I encourage her to continue reaching out to people in her own little way".
