2019 : Paul Adah Meets Ex-Lawmakers, Promise To Rebrand C'River


Former two times member, Federal House of Representatives and the immediate past Commissioner representing Cross River State in the governing board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Rt. Hon Paul Adah has continued his consultation for the 2019 Governorship election.

At the latest consultation where he met with the former members of the Cross River State House of Assembly in his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC Governorship aspirant promised to rebrand and rescue the state from the shackles of "Gov Ben Ayade's" misrule.

Adah who said he was out to ensure he stop the state from being plague into another four years of visionless leadership added that if elected he will rebrand the state through the judicious utilization of the state's natural and mineral resources.

While maintaining that he will unfold the details of his vision and mission for Cross River state during his formal declaration, he noted that there was abundance of unutilized opportunities in the water/marine sector and promised to explore the opportunities to improve and stabilize the the state Internally Generated Revenue if he becomes the Governor.

Reacting, Chairman of the Group, Hon Nkpanam Obo expressed excitement over Adah's courage and readiness to rescue the state from what he described as the "shackles of ineffective and incompetent leadership" of the current administration.

Pleased with the prosect of having one of them, a former Legislator as Governor, Obo pledged the group's support to ensure Adah get the APC governorship ticket as well as win the general election.

Also speaking, former Deputy Speaker of the state assembly, Rt Hon Patrick Antigha Ene said he was satisfied with Adah's plans for the state especially in the area of Water/Marine development.

While commending him for the bold step as well as reaching out to party members, he encourage him to remain steadfast in his aspiration to rescue the state from "Gov Ayade maladministration"
