Unical Seeks Uk University Partnership On Engineering, Pharmacy Programmes

The University of Calabar (Unical) has said that it will enter into partnership with United Kingdom based University, Bradford University to help in building the newly established Faculties of Engineering and Pharmacy.

Vice Chancellor of Unical, Prof. Zana Akpagu stated this on Friday during the University of Bradford seminar held in Chelsea Hotel, Abuja.

Prof. Akpagu, represented by the University's Registrar, Mr. Moses Abang said that the University was open to the possibility of collaborating with the UK University in Technology, especially Engineering and Pharmacy where the University is renowned for.

Speaking, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Bradford, Prof Brian Cantor, expressed the institution's readiness to work with Unical to develop the facilities and other programmes.

At the dinner to mark the end of the seminar, Unical VC was given an undisclosed present by the Bradford team.

Speaking, Unical Pro. Vice Chancellor on External collaboration, Prof Akaneren Essien, thanked the Bradford University team even as he said the varsity was looking forward to future collaboration.
