BREAKING : Unical VC TO Represents Education Minister As "Special Guest" In Akwa Ibom

The Minister of Education, Alhaji Adamu Adamu has chosen the Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Unical, Prof. Zana Akpagu to represent him as a "Special Guest" of honour in the official commissioning of the Nigerian Navy Military school in Ikot-Ntuen, Akwa Ibom State.

The Director of Tertiary Institution, Federal Ministry of Education, Ojo J.S in a letter sent to the VC said  that the event is scheduled to hold today by 10:am at the school premises.

The Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral  Ibok Ekwes Ibas has in a letter dated 14th of May invited the Honourable Minister as a special guest in the official commissioning ceremony of the school.

The letter which was attached to Prof. Akpagu's request to represent the minister reads, "In appreciation of the Minister's support which has led to the successful establishment of the school, I have the honour to most respectfully invite you to attend the official commissioning ceremony of the Nigerian Navy Military School, Ikot-Ntuen as Special Guest".

At the time of filling this report, Prof. Akpagu was already in Akwa Ibom with the Chief of Naval staff and other dignitaries for the function.
