BREAKING : Minister To Commission Unical Erosion and Flood Control Works

Barring last minute change, all is set for the official commissioning of the University of Calabar, (Unical) Erosion and Control Works by the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu.

In a letter addressed to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Zana Akpagu and signed by the Minister, the official commissioning of the project is billed for Friday, May 25 by 11:am.

Onu said that "I write to inform you of the official commissioning of the University of Calabar Erosion and Flood Control Works".

The project is a federal government initiative which was approved last year by the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

In April last year, officials from the Ecological Funds Office (EFO) were in the University to officially handover the project site to the contractor, Messrs Telesis Limited  and Messrs Nok Associate, project consultant.
