Ayade who said this will boost the internally generated revenue of the state added that the industry will create  about 1000 jobs as it will be the biggest seedling plant in Africa.

The Governor said this during an organized inspection at the site yesterday in Calabar, the State Capital.

He maintained that the project is aimed at liberating the state from overdependence on the lean federal allocation, noting that industrialization of the state remain the only panacea to come out of the shock of loss of 76 oil wells to Akwa Ibom State..
