Obudu New Yam : FrankBornd to give out free fuel on Saturday

In appreciation of their customers patronage, the management of Frankbornd Investment Limited (Oil&Gas) has said that on Saturday being Obudu New Yam Festival, they will be giving out free fuel from 6-10am.

Managing Director of the company, Mr. Frank Ikemti revealed this to newsmen in Calabar yesterday.

Mr. Ikemti said that since the establishment of the filling station he has introduced giving out free fuel as part of the company's reward system for their loyal customers.

He said that "For me, it's not about the quantity of fuel we will be giving out or have been giving out for free because we do it annually, it's just our little way of saying thank you to our customers. You know in business, loyalty is not a one way traffic? As much as we want our customers to be loyal to us, we must also be loyal to them. This is why we do this every year".

The young Director added that he decided to be doing it every first Saturday of September which is Obudu new yam festival as a way of marking the event for his customers.

"I'm not doing this because I have too much or because I'm the richest filling station owner in Obudu. But my idea is that, as an Obudu man, I should also reach out to the stakeholders of my company. Customers keep us in business; in fact they're very critical stakeholders that without them we don't exist. So, I want to profoundly thank them for their support and patronage.

"We are assuring them that we will continue to improve and get better to meet up their demands", he added.

Frankbornd filling is one of the largest stations in the northern part of Cross River state. It is located along Ogoja road in Bebuagbong village, Obudu local government area of the state.

In the past wo years, the station has won award from the State Weigh and Measurement Unit for it standard liter measurement.

The station is regarded currently as the best in the northern part of the state because of its customers friendly policies, standard metre measurement and aesthetics.
