BREAKING : Again, court declares Usani C'River APC Guber candidate

Barely one week after Justice Othman Musa of the FCT High Court ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission and the National Working Committee of the APC to recognize Niger Delta Minister, Pastor Usani Usani as the governorship candidate of APC in Cross River State, a Federal High Court yesterday in Abuja also declared Usani as the winner of the APC governorship primaries in the state.

Since the October 2018  APC parallel governorship primaries which produced Usani and Sen. John Owan Enoh as governorship candidates of the party in the state, the two gladiators have been having legal battle on who is the authentic candidate of the party.

While the NWC of APC recognized the primaries conducted by Sen. Enoh and subsequently forwarded his name to INEC, Usani insisting that he is the candidate has been in court challenging the decision not to recognize him.

The battle took a different dimension yesterday as a Federal High Court declared Usani as the authentic candidate of the party in the state.
