Gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Cross River State, Barr. Venatius Ikem has dumped the APC for the People's Democratic Party, PDP.
Ikem, a a kinsman of Gov. Ben Ayade who dumped PDP for APC in 2016 is a former National Publicity Secretary of the PDP and Senior Special Adviser to the President during Olusegun Obasanjo's regime.
He was officially received into the PDP today by GovernorAyade during a political rally in Obudu where the both hail from.
