Caution Your Niger Delta Minister, Ochala tells Buhari

Acting Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC in Cross River State, Sir John Ochala has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to caution the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Pastor Usani Usani against destabilizing the party in the state.

Ochala who was addressing the mammoth crowd at the J.U Esuene Stadium during the APC Presidential rally in Calabar accused the Minister of creating disunity in the party.

It will be recalled that Usani has been having running battle with the APC in the state over leadership of the party.

The Minister has also been laying claims to the APC governorship ticket despite the party recognizing Sen. John Owan Enoh as its flag bearer.

Ochala however accused Usani who was the Chairman of the party before his appointment as Minister of causing crisis in the party.

The APC Chairman further informed President Buhari that the projects which were sold to him by Gov. Ben Ayade in previous state visits to the state were only on pages of newspaper.

"Mr. President, the supper highway which you came three years ago for groundbreaking is still at the stage you met it. Nothing is going on there.

"Also, the rice city which you came here to commission is a scam. There's no trace of the product of the rice city anywhere. We know states that have keyed into your agricultural revolution. Cross River under Ayade is not one of them", - Ochala said.
