JUST IN : #COVID-19 : Akpagu unveils "reliable" made-in-Unical hand sanitiser

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, (Unical) Prof. Zana Akpagu has unveiled a "reliable" hand sanitiser certified to kill germs 99.9  per cent without water or towel.

The new but dependable and highly sort after sanitiser is produced by the University's faculty of Pharmacy which is one of the new faculties established under his administration.

In an exclusive chat with our reporter, the Vice Chancellor said that as the world is battling with the rampaging Coronavirus (COVID-19), it was important for the University to live to its responsibility as a solution architect.

The University administrator assured that the institution was committed to partner government and other relevant agencies to curb the spread of the virus in the country.

Akpagu said that the hand sanitiser has gone through the necessary different stages of laboratory examinations and has been certified to kill germs 99.9 per cent.

He urged members of the University community and the general public to always follow instructions from relevant authorities especially by sanitising their hands always.

The product which many have described as one of the best and most reliable is already available in the market.
