Misconduct : Hit FM fires MacDonald, appoints Duke as new Head of programme

Popular Radio and Television Presenter, Duke Emmanuel has been appointed as the new Head of Programme of Calabar premier private radio station, Hit 95.9 FM.

The appointment was contained in a statement issued yesterday by management of the station.

Duke was appointed to replace MacDonald Peter Anyangbe whose appointment was terminated due to official misconduct.

According to the statement, "Hit 95.9 FM, The premier private radio station in Calabar has carried out a managerial change. 

The change sees Duke Emmanuel become the Head of Programmes. He replaces Macdonald Peter Anyangbe, whose appointment was terminated due to misconduct"

The statement add that "By the announcement, therefore, Macdonald Peter Anyangbe ceases to represent the station in whatever form".. 

While stating its commitment to a stable, healthy, and safe working environment for all staff, the Station reaffimed that it "clearly stand against all forms of harassment and assault".
