Beware of fraudsters, I don't have Facebook, IG accounts - Minister warns

The Honourable Minister of State, Power, Prince Goddy Jedy-Agba, OFR, Dan Jarin Nupe has warned the general public to beware of fraudsters who are impersonating him on Facebook and Instagram.

The Minister who took to Twitter (@AgbaGoddy) to sound the warning said that he doesn't have Facebook or Instagram accounts and has not authorised anybody to operate any on his name.

He said that those impersonating him on the social media platforms are doing it with the view to scamming unsuspecting publics.

"My attention has been drawn to some fraudulent schemes by person(s) behind some social media accounts - Facebook, Instagram - purporting to be me, with a view to scamming unsuspecting public.

The general public is hereby put on notice that I do not have a Facebook or Instagram account/page and haven't authorized anyone to operate one in my name or on my behalf", the tweets reads.
