NCWD DG revalidates APC membership, donates 100 bags of rice, other items to party members

The Director General of the National Centre For Women Development (NCWD), Barr. Mary Ekpere - Eta on Saturday, revalidated her membership of the All Progressives Congress, APC in her native community in Ikom local government area of Cross River State.

Ekpere-Eta also doled out cash, bags of rice, soghum, pampas and other items worth millions of naira to party and prospective members.

Speaking, the DG urged Nigerian women to come out en mass to register with the APC.

She said that the APC government has favoured women with many initiatives therefore, more women should join for more goodies.

The APC Chieftain said that her donations were to encourage party members as well as those yet to join to know that the APC government cares about the people.

She maintained that she always try to encourage people especially the women and her donations was her little contribution to encouraging more people to join the party.

She was accompanied to the revalidation exercise by national, state, chapter and ward party executives.
