Former State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Cross River State, Sir John Ochala

Former State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Cross River State, Sir John Ochala has urged members of the People's Democratic Party, PDP and other non-members of APC to join the party.

Ochala who said this in a statement issued in Calabar called on other party faithful to take advantage of the APC registration and revalidation exercise to recommit themselves to the party.

He said that the party faithful and would be members should see the membership registration exercise of the party as a strategic step towards genuinely handing over the party to its real, and legitimate owners; the people.

According to Sir Ochala, "it is not only an obligation but also a responsibility on our part to formally register or revalidate our membership. We must also pay the mandatory yearly token as membership due, which gives us the bragging rights as stakeholders of the party.

While asking members and prospective members to go to their various wards for registratio, he enjoined all leaders of APC in states/ LGAs/ wards to mobilize support for a successful membership registration exercise.

Recall that the national Caretaker Committee of the party has announced that membership registration/revalidation is ongoing across the country.
