BREAKING : Buhari Reappoints Coker, Others As DGs


Mr. Folorunsho Coker, Director General Nigeria Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC).


President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the reappointment of Mr. Folorunsho Coker as Director General Nigeria Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC).

In a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the President also reappointed Otunba Segun Runsewe as Director-General, National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), and Alhaji Adedayo Thomas, Executive Director National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB).

The President also approved the appointment of Alhaji Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed as the Chief Executive Officer /Artistic Director of the National Troupe of Nigeria.
The statement added that Alhaji Ahmed was until his appointment, Director of Culture in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Bauchi State.

The reappointed Chief Executive Officers are to serve for another term of four years.

Congratulating all the appointees especially, Mr. Coker, Special Assistant, Political to the Minister of State, Power, Koko James, said that he was excited because the President has demonstrated that hard works pays.

According to him, "I want to congratulate all of them especially, Mr. Coker who has taken Nigeria's tourism sector to another level. His reappointment is a testament to the fact that hardwork pays".
