Mbu-Ogar Bags 'Ntufam' Traditional Title

Member representing Etung State Constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. Chris Njah Mbu-Ogar has been crowned with the traditional title of 'Ntufam Onor' by the Ntufams' Council of Osomba Community in Akamkpa Local Government Area.

The title which is one of the highest in the Ejagham nation is said to be in recognition of his goodwill, purposeful leadership and outstanding contribution to legislative processes in t Etung and the State at large
Receiving his diadem and other royal regalia at the coronation ceremony, the Legislator thanked the traditional institution for following political developments in the State and finding him worthy of such noble recognition.

Represented by Hon. Abang Attah, the Etung-born lawmaker, regarded as one of the most politically adept solons in the State legislature, averred that the recognition would serve as a nudge to do more for the benefit of his immediate constituency, the State and the nation at large.
The Lawmaker further pointed out that the fact that the recognition came from a traditional entity that is aboriginal to his native Etung and the larger Ejagham nation made the coronation even more interesting to him. He assured Cross Riverians, especially his constituents of his avowed commitment to legislative efficiency and courses that engender the development and the overall weal of the State. The event also saw the coronation of Rt. Hon. Charles Ekpe, Rt. Hon. Joseph Bassey, Rt. Hon. Matthew Olory with titles.
