Benson-Idahosa's Award : Malami, More Ministers Congratulate Jedy

Honourable Minister of State, Power, Goddy Jedy Agba, OFR 

There have been outpour of congratulatory messages to the Honourable Minister of State, Power, Goddy Jedy Agba, OFR over his nomination for an award of a Doctorate degree by the Benson Idahosa University, (BIU). 

Professor Sam Guobadia, Vice Chancellor of the University announced during a courtesy call on the Minister last month that he will be conferred with a Honorary Doctorate Degree at the 16th convocation ceremony of the institution coming up on Saturday July 17th, 2021.

Congratulating the Minister, the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN in a letter personally signed by him said that he expects the award to spur him to contribute more in the development of the country.

"I write to felicitate with you on the very auspicious occasion of the award of an Honorary Doctorate Degree on you by the Benson Idahosa University during the 16th Convocation Ceremony slated for Saturday, 17th July, 2021 in Benin City.

It is of paramount importance to mention that your devotion to duty, commitment to excellence, service to humanity as well as your invaluable contributions to nation-building over the years have not gone unnoticed hence this award which is a significant milestone in your life and political career ", he said.

In his congratulatory message, Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, CON, noted that" I heartily congratulate you on this auspicious occasion of your being honoured with a well deserved Honorary Doctorate Degree".

Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen, OFR, who described the award as a "great achievement" added that "that your selfless services are being recognized through this conferment make me glad and proud and it's worth celebrating".

The Minister of State, Finance, Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba also congrated Agba for the recognition.
