The EFCC detective maintained that "I thank my team (the Versatile Team EGS Ibadan) for working very smartly and not only winning big but setting a global record. Even at that we will continue to scale new heights. To me, it is both a pleasure and a rare privilege to have been guided by God and His Mighty Hand to mentor a team of dedicated men and women. Congratulations officers".

A regular award-winner, Dr Nkpe holds a record setting First Class Honour degree from the University of Jos from where he joined the services of the EFCC more than sixteen years ago. He hails from Utugwang in Obudu local government area of Cross River State.
