Kalu Champions Social Welfare Service Bill

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North in the Nigerian Senate, has taken a significant step towards combating extreme poverty and improving the lives of vulnerable Nigerians. On Thursday, October 9, after the plenary session, Senator Kalu announced that he had sponsored a bill to establish the Social Welfare Service of Nigeria.
