Kalu intensifies engagement with OUK Movement, Reality Organization, outlines plans for APC dominance in Abia

In a strategic move aimed at consolidating political power and influence in Abia State, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, Deputy Speaker of the Senate and a key figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC), has intensified his engagements with the leadership of the OUK Movement and Reality Organization structures across the state.
The senator made these remarks during a recent meeting that brought together zonal and state officials and executives from Abia Central and Abia South, following a similar strategic meeting held yesterday with leaders from Abia North. The meeting saw the attendance and strong support from key stakeholders, including former Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Emeka Atuma, and Hon. Donatus Nwankpa, Board Chairman of the Project Development Institute (PRODA), alongside other committed stakeholders.
Senator Kalu outlined the mission of the OUK Movement and Reality Organization, stating that they are unequivocally focused on taking over governance in Abia State. He expressed the party's ambition to produce all eight Members of the House of Representatives, 24 Members of the House of Assembly, and three Senators, as well as an APC Governor and an APC President. Moreover, he emphasized their commitment to ensuring that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu records the highest number of votes in Abia State.
The senator highlighted the strength and widespread nature of the OUK Movement and Reality Organization, citing the presence of 307 ABSIEC wards. He called for a massive registration in the ongoing APC e-registration exercise as a demonstration of their strength and unity within the party.
Senator Orji Uzor Kalu also addressed the issue of division within the party, stating that there is no division and emphasizing the unity of the party's leadership. He affirmed the position of the State Chairman, Hon. Kingsley Ononogbu, and stressed the united front presented by himself, the Deputy Speaker, the Minister, and all critical stakeholders.
The senator's recent engagements extended to his country home in Igbere, Abia State, where he met with members of the OUK Movement and the Reality Organization alongside executives of the APC in Abia North. He commended the commitment and dedication of the leadership of these groups and acknowledged the contributions of key figures such as the Chairman of Reality Organization in Abia State, Mr. Peter Ndukwe, and the Chairman of OUK Movement, Hon. Ojisi Iro Ogbaja.
Continuing his engagements, Senator Kalu visited Ohafia, where he was warmly received at the homes of Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu, former Deputy Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, and Chief Ikenna Nicholas Ukwa, Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President. He expressed appreciation for their contributions to community development and acknowledged their efforts.
In the spirit of respect for traditional institutions and community leadership, the senator paid homage to the Palace of His Royal Paramountcy, Eze Ohafia Elder, Awa Orji Udonsi, the Udumeze of Ohafia Ancient Kingdom, where he reaffirmed the vital role of traditional institutions in preserving peace, culture, and unity.
Senator Kalu also visited the home of the former Chairman of Ohafia Local Government Area, Barr. Emeka I. U. Kalu, at Ebem Ohafia, to offer his condolences over the recent loss of a loved one. He extended prayers for comfort and strength to the bereaved family.
The day concluded with a reception at the country home of Chief Barrister Joseph Eke Kalu at Isui Ugwu Ohafia, where the senator further engaged with stakeholders and community leaders on his activities at the Senate, ongoing and planned infrastructure interventions, and other critical social issues affecting the people of Abia North and Nigeria at large.
Kalu's engagements with the OUK Movement, Reality Organization, and various community leaders exemplify his dedication to serving his constituents with sincerity and commitment.
